COVID19 UPDATE 1 APRIL 2022

As from Friday 1st April 2022 all patients with symptoms of acute respiratory infection including possible COVID19 who require medical attention will be triaged over the phone by their GP surgery between the hours of 830am and 6pm.

If you are a Jedburgh Medical Practice patient, and fit the criteria above, please call 01835 863361 and our trained patient advisors team will help you with your call.

If you require medical attention out with our opening hours of 830am and 6pm, please call NHS24 on 111.

For all other COVID19 information and advice please call the NHS24 Covid special helpline 03450342456,24 refer to NHS inform or call 0800 028 2816.  These helplines are available 0800-2000 Monday-Friday and 0900-1700 Saturday, Sunday.

SYMPTOMS OF COVID19

  • A high temperature or fever
  • New continuous cough
  • Change in sense of smell or taste 

If you are experiencing any of these symptoms, if possible please take a lateral flow test to identify whether or not you are covid positive, before phoning to make an appointment.

COVID Vaccinations - booster vaccines

NHS Borders have resumed responsibility for all COVID boosters.  These booster vaccines will be offered to patients alongside their flu vaccincations through the autumn and winter of 2021.  As a Practice we are not offering COVID boosters or flu vaccines.
