Jedburgh Medical Practice currently provides medical care to around 7000 patients which means our GP partners are currently caring for over 2300 patients each.

Changes for the New Year

Sadly our Mental Health Nurse Kirsty left the Practice in December, Kirsty has been a great asset to Jedburgh Medical Practice and will be missed by her colleagues and patients.

Going forward any patients with mental health concerns will be given an appointment with one of our ANPs or GPs.  However, if you have an urgent mental health need, there's support available to get you the right care in the right place.

If you're already getting mental health support from a service, then if possible please continue to use this service to get the support you need.

If you require support and your GP practice or other mental health support is closed and you can't wait for them to reopen, then you can phone NHS24 on 111 and choose the mental health option.  You will then be connected with the NHS24 mental health hub who will help you get the right care for you.  Please note you won't be charged for phoning 111 and it won't appear on your phone bill.

Patient Information

Blood test results are not available via telephone until after 1pm.

If you call before this time then unfortunately we will not be able to help you.

Remember blood tests take 4 days after appointment for results to be available.

Thanks for your co-operation.

Zero Tolerance - Staff Abuse

Did you know over three quarter of GP Practice Staff face verbal abuse from patients each year.

Our staff work hard to provide you with the best possible service.

Please treat them with the courtesy and respect they deserve.

We operate a zero-tolerance policy and may refuse to provide services to indiviudals or those accompanying individuals who are violent, threaten violence, commit or threaten to commit a criminal offence either in person or over the phone.
